Add your field photos
Pick your original photos and this tool reads the GPS location saved inside each one, right here in your browser. Nothing leaves your device until you choose to: you can download a spreadsheet of the locations, or send the photos and their locations straight to the project inbox with one button.
Use the originals. Choose the photos straight from your phone or camera
roll. Photos that have been pasted into OneNote, screenshotted, or shared as "small size"
usually have their location erased, so those will show "no location found." If you are on
a phone, tapping the box below lets you pick from your camera roll directly.
Pick a species here, then choose all the
photos of that species at once and they are tagged automatically. Change it and add the
next species. You can still fix any single photo below.
Send these locations to the project
This uploads a small copy of each photo, with its location, species, and notes, to the project inbox, one at a time. The full-resolution original stays on your phone; the location is read from it first, so nothing is lost.
The CSV button also downloads the same table if you would rather email it or keep a copy. Reporting a single sighting instead? Use the sighting form →
